Synopsis[]

Plot[]

The war begins between Payan and Trivantes. As Trivantian soldiers advance, The Payans close the gate to the fortress to delay the attack. Haniwa and Kofun refuse to leave after Baba Voss asks them to, much to his frustration. However, Baba hears the Hidden Tribe call, signalling the arrival of the hidden tribes led by Paris and Toad. An old friend is with them to join the fight.

Meanwhile, Maghra sits with Queen Kane where the Queen reveals the father of her son. Maghra believes the Queen to be lying and says as much. Later, Maghra and Harlan discuss their attempted assassination, where it is revealed who did this.

Back at the battle, the Trivantians advance initially with scouts which are taken down by Baba Voss and Payan soldiers. Baba decides to take the fight to the caverns to give them the advantage. They used fire to wipe out a large number of Trivantian soldiers, and Kofun soon neutralised the archers by stopping the sighted child from giving orders.

The battle is brutal with many casualties, and Baba takes a course of action that swings the battle in favor of the Payans, leading to their victory. Wren survives the battle and she and Haniwa make a decision on their future. Meanwhile, Baba and Edo face one another For the last time.

Baba and Maghra discuss their family and how their children are grown up. Payan military requires changes which gives mixed opinions from the Payan ranks. Baba Voss makes a decision about his future and Paris sees Queen Kane where they discuss her child.
