Season 1 of Apple TV+ original science fiction drama series SEE was picked up for 8-episodes straight-to-series order on January 10, 2018.[2] The first three episodes premiered on November 1, 2019, followed by new episodes weekly, every Friday.

Synopsis

“See” takes place in the distant future, after a deadly virus decimated humankind. Those who survived emerged blind. Jason Momoa stars as Baba Voss — the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see — who must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who wants the twins destroyed.

Production

It is directed by Francis Lawrence and written by Steven Knight[3]. The project is being produced by Chernin Entertainment/Endeavor Content. Knight and Lawrence will executive produce the series, alongside Chernin Entertainment's Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Kristen Campo.[4]
